DANNON C. TRAXLER, Attorney at Law: Ms. Traxler graduated from Alexandria Senior High School in Alexandria, Louisiana in 1990. She received her B.A. in English Literature from Louisiana College in May of 2002, graduating cum laude. In 2005, she received her J.D. from Tulane University School of Law where she also received a certificate in Environmental Law. Ms. Traxler was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2005, soon after which she joined the firm of Langabeer & Tull, P.S., and in 2013 formed Langabeer & Traxler, P.S. with Richard J. Langabeer who retired in 2017. Ms. Traxler is currently a sole practitioner. Her primary areas of practice include land use, real estate, municipal, and environmental law. Ms. Traxler’s practice involves a variety of work for business and municipal clients with an emphasis on land use regulations. She is familiar with all local zoning and other regulations relating to subdivisions, shoreline management, and pollution control. She also has extensive experience practicing before state and local boards, commissions and agencies that enforce these regulations. She has assisted in creating several types of local improvement districts and is familiar with the issues confronting such districts, including utilization of state and federal grant and loan elements, interim private financing, and municipal bond issuance. Ms. Traxler works with municipal clients including the City of Ferndale and Skagit Transit advising on matters such as state and federal statutory and regulatory compliance matters, business transactions, construction, public works transactions, interlocal agreements, real estate acquisitions, and service and operational issues. She has represented the City of Ferndale before the Hearing Examiner, the Growth Management Hearings Board and other state and local boards, as well as in court. Mrs. Traxler also represents clients in all aspects of commercial real estate, financing, construction, environmental law, estate planning and probate. She has volunteered for several local organizations including serving on the board of the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County and its Governmental Affairs Committee. She has also served on Whatcom County’s Technical Advisory Committee which reviews the County road and stormwater standards and makes recommendations to the County Executive. Ms. Traxler has also served on the Bellingham Bay Rotary Club in several posts, including Program Chair and President.

CRISTY C. SEARS, Paralegal: Ms. Sears has been with the firm since 1992. Through her years of work with the attorneys in our firm, she has gained broad experience in many facets of administrative and municipal law, as well as estate, business, land use and general legal matters. She has provides support in complex litigation matters, and has extensive transactional and other real estate experience.

ANTONIA OLIVER, Office Manager: Ms. Oliver has been with the firm since 1998. She runs the day-to-day administrative operations of the firm. She is responsible for coordinating new case assignments, client communications and appointments.
